Gallery 4009 is an experimental apartment gallery located in Chicago, IL. The identity and curation were created for the exhibition Rituals I Can’t Complete by Grace Papineau-Couture.

A foundational ethos of Gallery 4009 is that co-directors Emily Swenson and Carter Teranes play a role in each show as designers, adding to the context in which work is presented through conversation and print material. All materials for this show were printed on Risograph.
